The Hoppetosse has been named after Pipi Longstocking’s boat. Pipi Longstocking is the famous character in the childrens’ book by author Astrid Lindgren. Pipi, „the strongest girl in the world”, fears nothing and no one, and makes the impossible possible.

Wings for handicapped e.V. invites children and parents to a day of adventure on the water at nearby locations, free-of-charge. The Hoppetosse will be the stage for a shared adventure. It doesn’t matter how strong or how weak the individual may be. Together everyone moves ahead at the same speed! While they are having fun, the children learn that limitations can be overcome and their self-esteem is boosted.
